Making Progress in Tanzania

Dr. Robert Hansen, HfC Board President, and long-time HfC volunteer, Dan Harms, visited Tanzania to meet with our partners and further our project goals. While there, they met with Traditional Birth Attendants and distributed 180 safe birth kits. They provided oximeters and laptops to clinic staff and began discussions about working on a menstruation management pilot program. At the end of their journey, they met with our partners in the Babati Rotary Club which is partnering with HfC, and several other organizations, on a Rotary International grant. Overall, it has been a very productive visit thanks to the support of our wonderful partners who are dedicated to improving the lives of children in East Africa.
