Thank you to Meredith Bolen
We would like to thank Meredith Bolen for completing two years as a Teaching Fellow at Rwamagana Lutheran Secondary School in Rwamagana Rwanda. Meredith has been a volunteer with HfC for many years and first traveled to Rwanda as a Westminster College student with HfC.
“The past two years in Rwanda have changed so many things for me and about me. I have learned more than I ever expected about myself and the incredible culture of Rwanda. I am immensely grateful to Humanity for Children, the Rwamagana Leaders’ School of Rwanda, as well as the students for giving me the opportunity to teaching. I have grown as a teacher, person, and into the leader I want to be with my students. I hope to keep exploring the Expeditionary Learning pedagogy as a teacher in future lessons and keep improving as much as possible. I know that I will forever keep Rwanda and its’ thousand hills in my heart.”
